Moore Family Law is a specialist family law solicitors’ practice based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. The firm advises on divorce and separation, financial settlements, arrangements for children, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, and provides family mediation. Appointments are available in person, by telephone and online, serving Skipton, Craven, the Yorkshire Dales and the Aire Valley. We handle all the necessary legal steps to disentangling a relationship: divorce and all its ramifications. We handle the fair distribution of assets and pensions, ensuring short and long term financial stability for our clients. Most importantly we work to minimise the impact of separation on children. Their welfare is paramount and we assist with issues ranging from living and visiting arrangements through to financial maintenance for their upbringing. Mediation is an alternative option we can offer to resolve disputes amicably. We are the only legal practice in the Dales area to offer this service. Please note, however, that we cannot go onto represent someone if we have acted as their mediator. We offer meetings in person at our office in a traditional C19th century building on Rectory Lane (in the centre of Skipton backing onto the main car park) or online with you using webcam platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
