On Thursday 23rd February, Jackie and I were flown from Blackpool airport, over the Lake District, then on past Kendal Blackburn and Colne, on the way to Skipton. Our pilot Matt Williamson is Jackie's son and has recently passed all the training and got his Private Pilot's Licence. He wanted to treat his mum, and what a treat it was. Had the weather been a littlie kinder, the images might have been a bit sharper, but nonetheless it was a great experience and we have quite a lot of photos and video footage.

We really wanted some clear shots of Skipton Castle and the High Street. It wasn't to be, the Castle ones are probably the least clear, due to wispy cloud, but you can certainly make it out! We hope you like the images!
